I am now making these men's leather wallets out of Buffalo Calf, an expensive imported leather. I have it in Medium Brown, Dark Brown, and Black. This calf skin leather has an expensive look because it is. It is an interesting leather, not just a "Flat" grain with a "Vinyl" look. This leather is tanned like Italian top grain leather. My customers really love the look and smell of this leather! These are easily $80.00 leather wallets with folded edges, that look as good, and will last a lot longer than even the most expensive imported leather wallets because they are 100% leather. There are no thin weak lining materials in these men's leather wallets, they are all 100% calf skin leather and sewn with #69 nylon thread (what others use for handbags).
These are much more substantial than other leather wallets on the market. This full grain leather is thicker than the paper thin leathers necessary on imported wallets with their layers of lining and man made material. You will notice the substantial feel when you hold it in your hand. The calf leather is softer and more flexable than the leather in the working mans hand stitched leather wallet but is still solid enough that it is enhanced with use. These calfskin leather wallets also have folded edges to produce a finer finished look.
