The "English" Bridle leather used for these wallets is tanned in the U.S.A. I'm using it to make some of the same styles as the calfskin wallets. This tan Bridle Leather makes a more firm wallet than the Calfskin Leather. The color is a light tan, lighter than the way it came out in the pictures. I expect these wallets to break in with a more leathery look and to darken with use. Since this is a new offering for 2008... you will have to let me know about that in a few years. When I handle it, it makes that noise you hear when stepping into the saddle, that leather against leather noise. All three wallets measure 3-5/8" X 8-3/4" when open.  Style #1
